A well established coarse fishery for over 15 years. The lake holds Carp, Roach, Rudd, Bream and Perch. Working along side the wildlife trust, Woodlands Farm Fishery is set in idyllic surroundings and there is an abundance of wildlife to be seen throughout the year.

"A great place to fish"

Woodlands Farm Fishery

Fish Stock

Woodlands Farm Fishery is heavily stocked and boasts a high level of double figure Carp, with some reaching close to 30lb. The Jewel in our crown is a resident old timer Leather Carp known as Santa - who at last capture was in excess of 35lb.

For the guys who love their silver fish, we have roach exceeding 2lb which feed all year round, offering the angler a chance to catch in winter using baits such as bread punch or pinkies. In the summer the Roach respond well to Hemp, Tares, Elderberries and of course Maggots. The good head of skimmers and Bream will always spice up those Silver Fish days along with the Rudd, Perch and a real chance of hooking a few double figure Carp. Woodlands Farm Fishery is a great place to fish.

Opening Day 2006

10lb 12oz Common Carp

Victoria with the best fish of the day, a 10lb 12oz Common Carp. After trying a multitude of baits the Carp settled on natural coloured Carp Pellets and definitely didn't want anything sweet like chocolate or bright pop-up boilies. "Its best to stick to the naturals this time of year" remarked Victoria.

Fin perfect Mirror Carp

Dave with a Small but fin Perfect Mirror Carp. The fish taken today were all in fin perfect condition and things look set for a fantastic summer of big fish and top match weights.
